Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit teksozusi.ro or contact us, why we process it and what your rights are, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018.

1. Data controller

The site belongs to the Teksöz Orman Ürünleri group (Turkey). For any question about your data you can write to us at iletisim@teksoz.com.tr.

2. What data we process

  • Technical visit data: IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser and device type. The server records them automatically in its logs.
  • Data you send us when you contact us: name, phone number, email address, the content of your message (for example the model, sizes and number of doors you want a quote for).
  • Usage statistics, collected through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, only if you give your consent in the cookie banner.

The site has no forms and does not ask you to create an account. We do not process special categories of data and do not target children under 16.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering quote requests and messages, by phone, WhatsApp or email: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Operating and securing the site (server logs, abuse prevention): our legitimate interest in providing a secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Usage statistics, to improve the site: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Complying with legal obligations (for example accounting, if we enter into a contract): Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

4. Who receives the data

  • The hosting provider of the site, which stores the server logs, as a processor.
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited), if you choose to message us on WhatsApp. The WhatsApp privacy policy then also applies.
  • Our parent company Teksöz Orman Ürünleri, insofar as it takes part in preparing the quote or the delivery.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), only with your consent.
  • Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft Clarity), only with your consent.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some data may leave the EEA: to our parent company in Turkey or, if you enable statistics, to providers in the United States. Such transfers only take place with the safeguards of Chapter V GDPR, for example the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission or, for certified providers, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 6. How long we keep the data

  • Server logs: 7 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Correspondence about a quote: as long as needed to answer and, if no contract is concluded, at most 2 years after the last contact.
  • Contract data and accounting documents: for the period required by law (currently 5 years for financial and accounting records).
  • Statistical data: according to the settings of the analytics tool, at most 14 months.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest and the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28-30, sector 1, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro.
